Lesley graduated from
Emperors’ College of Traditional Oriental Medicine with
honors in 1987, and continued her studies, receiving her
Masters in Oriental Medicine in 1990. Since then Lesley
has completed many courses of study in health care, and
currently combines these specialties in her practice.
In addition to
practicing acupuncture, Lesley is a practitioner of
NAET-Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique for
patients with food and chemical sensitivities; TAT-Tapas
Acupressure Technique to help with emotional and Post
Traumatic Stress Disorders. Lesley also practices the
JMT-Jaffe-Mellor Technique, to help eliminate the pain
and problems associated with arthritis, rheumatoid
arthritis, fibromyalgia, and Crohn's disease.
In 2004, Lesley began
studying Sound Therapy with Acutonics co-founder, Donna
Carey. In Sound Therapy, a vibrating fork is activated,
vibrates and is then applied to the body at certain
acupuncture points. The body then begins to vibrate or
resonate with the tone as the sound is taken in,
creating harmony and healing at a cellular level.
Various tuning forks with different frequencies are used
during the treatment process.
The Acutonics Tuning
Fork System integrates Eastern and Western science,
medicine, mysticism, and music, connecting acupuncture,
acupressure, and trigger points with the Music of the
Spheres.
Using her knowledge of
Eastern medicine and her experience as an acupuncturist,
Lesley combines her many healing modalities to create
harmony in body, mind and spirit.
Lesley works together with her patients helping them
with various ailments including low back pain, sinus
pain, headaches, kidney stones, shoulder and elbow
problems, ADD, autism, nerve damage, tumors,
infertility, and stress, to name just a few.
Lesley has been married
for seventeen years and lives with her husband and
