LASTING WEIGHT LOSS

Scientists from Kaiser Permanente conducted a study comparing TAT to two other methods to help people maintain weight loss. In the three-month period of the study, the group doing TAT gained no weight back, as opposed to the other groups. Three months after the program ended, the TAT group had gained an average of less than a pound, whereas the other groups gained back six times as much. Participants in the TAT groups reported “almost immediate help in curbing cravings, controlling overeating, and sticking to a “good eating plan” directly after using TAT for these purposes.
